This is my first official post. Yesterday, I was at Stake Women's Conference and went to class by Jennie Slade about "Capturing Memories". (okay don't go look at her blog, she is really good and well mine will then look as pitiful as it is compared to hers.) So, here I am. Humm..should I start this like I always do in my journal after it has been awhile since I last wrote?? Well, then it would go something like this....
Dear Journal, It has been a long time since I wrote and boy a lot has happened. Like...husband, children, house, another house, vacations, stitches, lost teeth, stitches again. Just kidding!!!
2010 has been a great year so far. I realized how quick 2009 came and went. Here is a little info about me: still blond (for most of the year anyways), love my honey Dean, we have four wonderful children. Bekah, who will be 16 in a couple of months-Simon Joseph, who is 10 and the spitting image of his father-Ellie, who will turn 8 in April-and Little Luke, who is not so little anymore because he is 5 years old. Dean is great and serves as the Stake Sunday School President, which has been wonderful. I am serving as the 1st counselor in the Stake Primary. So as you can guess we are pretty busy. The kids are great and pitch in on Sundays when it gets a little sticky.
Well, thanks Sister Slade. I am really going to do this. I am really excited. Last night after my prayers I was laying there thinking to myself what is something that I do everyday that I could include in my blog...what do I do that maybe isn't so exciting that maybe writing about it would make it more fun for me...humm!!! Well, if you know me, the vain of my existence is LAUNDRY!!!! I hate it. I hate gathering it, washing it, folding it, I just plain don't like it. I like it, when it is DONE! So, for the next 365 days I will include my laundry dairies. I of course take Sundays off from laundry. (the one day the Lord has commanded me to not do it, and I always follow his commandments!!) So, tomorrow is the day. I can feel how fun this is going to be...till then.
Much Love, Kim
