Mom;s First Day of School

Mom's First Day of School Goals:
1. Organize hall closet
2. Get baby on nap schedule
3. Clean van
4. Clean hall closet
5. go to luncheon for dear friend Suzie Fitts
6. Start blog again!
7. Organize food storage and make shopping lists
8. Mow yard (too surprise my honey)
9. oh, make dinner
10. figure out how to use the saw to cut new closet bar
11. prepare Family Home Evening lesson for tonight
12. sign Luke up for Flag Football

Okay, in reality almost none of that happened. I did try. The day went to fast. It was a joy to be home with Baby Jake though. He is a dream!! Here is how he enjoyed carpooling. I used the Family Proclamation for our FHE lesson. We talked about the very first paragraph and read in Moses and Genesis about the creation of man and woman. It was fun to welcome the kids home and hear about all their great adventures for the day. Ellie loves her teacher because she is so creative. Luke loved math, "it was super fun!". Bekah, loved everything, journalism looks like it will be a blast! She will get to write in the school newspaper. SJ spent the first day of school with his dad. He started school on Tuesday. He had a great day, he loved science! He thinks his teacher was really great. The only elective available for him was drama, his replay of what happened in class is hilarious. Apparently, they acted out some Harry Potter scenes. Another beautiful day in our FAMILY!!!
Much Love!

First Day of School

The first day back to school was yesterday! :) Bekah, (my favorite child) is a senior in high school and decided to go back to public school from being at a virtual homeschool type school. Simon, in 7th grade, also went back to traditional school this year to Sig Rogich Middle School and is ecstatic to learn(Note: No pictures of SJ yet, soon to come!) Ellie and Luke are back at Bonner for another year of fun. Ellie's teachers name is Mrs. Peterson and she is in the fourth grade. Lukie has team teachers Mrs. Banto/Mrs. Donely who we adore and they taught Bekah and Ellie in first grade. We are grateful for a new school year and new adventures that come along with it.
